Kualifikasi Pelamar
What skills and experience do you need?
· Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or equivalent with 8 – 10 years’ experience with electrical instrumentation maintenance and strong exposure to mineral processing plants or heavy process industries (mineral mining, cement, petrochemical, pulp & paper, etc.) are necessary.
· Has minimum 4 years’ experience working in similar role as Supervisor Process Maintenance Control & Instrumentation in fixed plant project management;
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities; Familiar with CMMS/ERP (SAP PM, etc); Understanding of P&ID, loop diagrams, electrical/instrumentation drawings.
· Hands-on experience with:
ü Process control instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature, etc.)
ü DCS/PLC/SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens PCS7, ABB 800xA, Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV)
ü Analytical instruments (e.g., online particle size analyzer, XRF/XRD, pH meters, etc.)
ü Calibration tools (HART communicator, loop calibrators, etc.)
· Certified in instrumentation calibration, ISA/IEC standards, or DCS/PLC OEM training (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Emerson); Basic Safety (K3), LOTO, and Permit-to-Work certifications; Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
· Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;
· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

Some of your duties will include:
To supervise and lead the instrumentation and control maintenance activities within the processing plant, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, safe operation, and compliance with company standards. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance of field instrumentation, DCS/PLC/SCADA systems, analyzers, and related control systems critical to continuous mineral processing operations (e.g., crushing, milling, flotation, dewatering).
1. Control & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervision
· Supervise daily instrumentation and control maintenance tasks for all plant areas (e.g., Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Tailings).
· Ensure effective troubleshooting, calibration, loop-checking, and repair of transmitters, control valves, actuators, switches, and analytical instruments (pH, ORP, density, flow, etc.).
· Ensure availability and functionality of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
· Monitor and coordinate resolution of instrumentation and control-related alarms and system faults.
2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
· Lead implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation systems based on OEM recommendations and plant criticality.
· Coordinate reliability inspections and predictive diagnostics using vibration, temperature, and loop integrity checks.
3. Planning, Scheduling & Reporting
· Support work planning and daily/weekly scheduling in coordination with Maintenance Planning team.
· Monitor work orders in CMMS/ERP (e.g., SAP PM) and ensure timely closure with accurate records.
· Prepare daily shift reports, incident logs, and performance KPIs for review by Superintendent.
4. Project & Shutdown Support
· Participate in instrumentation installation and commissioning for plant expansions and projects.
· Supervise instrumentation scope during plant shutdowns and turnarounds, ensuring proper execution and handover.
5. Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
· Enforce safe work practices (LOTO, confined space, work at height, etc.) and support HSE inspections.
· Ensure compliance with Indonesian electrical/instrumentation regulations and international standards (ISA, IEC).
· Promote continuous improvement in maintenance practices through RCA, FMEA, and 5S/LEAN programs.
6. Team Leadership & Training
· Supervise, coach, and develop local instrumentation technicians and apprentices.
· Participate in competency assessments and technical training planning for the team.
· Support knowledge transfer from OEM/vendor specialists to in-house team.
